Opportunity Overview
The Teradyne IST Group is looking for a highly motivated, energetic, technically driven Field Service Engineer who is:
Proven to be effective in consistently applying technical knowledge in achieving field service team department goal, include the system KPI, customer satisfaction, cost reduction or productivity breakthrough for Department or customers.
Proven to be effective in working with engineers, customers, product support group, and operations, etc. In terms of to improve the production system uptime, MTBF, MCBA, MTTR, to improve the slot availability to meet the commitment to customer.
1. Deliver comprehensive technical service for production tester systems at OSAT facilities, including:
a. Real-time downtime troubleshooting, help the FSE team for the MTTR improve.
b. Automated jam recovery protocols, improve the system automation uptime.
c. Utilization optimization, improvement system OEE to meet customer requirements.
2. System Installation & Upgrade, retrofit on site Management
a. Manage end-to-end installation/retrofit projects for new equipment or testers installation and acceptance.
b. Legacy system upgrades, rework, or retrofits.
3. Advanced Data Analytics
a. Conduct multivariate evaluation of production data (MCBA/UPTIME/SA/UPH/yield) using statistical tools.
b. Identify root causes and implement corrective actions to do the production tester performance improve.
4. Technical Team Leadership Supervise and training local team for:
a. On-site teams to perform the Preventive maintenance.
b. System recovery.
c. Continuous OEE improvement initiatives
5. Structured Problem Resolution, Use 8D, 5W1H and SWOT
Technical issue evaluation and team work internally or teamwork with engineering, PSG supporting team, GSO team to get the applicable solutions and implement into production.
6. Representation
a. 3-way meetings presentation (Customer-OSAT-TER)
b. Present validated solutions with analysis for issues escalations to PSG or Engineering group.
7. Multi-Platform Technical Oversight
Extensive experience in managing high-volume semiconductor SLT (System-Level Test) equipment, HDD automation test systems, and SSD production testers; proficient in test processes and maintenance operations for HDD, SLT and SSD automation testers.

1). Batchelor degree in electronics, mechanical.
2). Minium 8 years work experience in Electronical or Mechanical or semiconductor areas.
3). Familiar with automation equipment and has strong experience for automation trouble shooting and debug. Especially for high volume product automation test equipment.
4) Rich skills to do the Automation logs, testing logs analysis.
5). Can communicate and present in English fluently both in writing and talking.
6). Familiar with semiconductor test process
7).Able to business trip occasionally both in domestic and abroad.
8).Able to accept the shift work or Overtime work if needed.
