Job location: You will work in Shanghai.
Responsibilities:
You will maintain existing server-side code to ensure its robustness and resolve server-related technical issues.
You will work on tasks related to server architecture and feature implementation.
You will optimize performance to minimize latency and packet loss, enhancing player experience.
You will resolve issues such as latency, synchronization errors, and connectivity problems.
You will collaborate with development teams for seamless network integration with the game.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in C++ and development on Linux.
Minimum 6 years in game server development.
Familiarity with common network protocols(e.g., TCP, UDP, IP and HTTP) and synchronization mechanisms of network games.
Solid foundation of computer science fundamentals(e.g., data structures, algorithms, network, and operating system).
Knowledge of containers and serverless technologies(e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of relational databases (e.g. MySQL or Postgres),in-memory data cache (e.g. Redis).
