About the Role
This role is responsible for assessing and analyzing business changes and needs to provide appropriate system functional solutions with cost and time estimations. This role involves capturing and documenting requirements as functional specifications, facilitating communication with relevant stakeholders, and ensuring the successful delivery of these requirements. The incumbent will also conduct system briefings and user training sessions as needed to support the implementation and adoption of new systems or enhancements.Job Description:
- Act as the liaison between information technology and business for the development and implementation of new systems and enhancement of existing systems. (40%)
- Assistant Project Manager to provide the estimation and schedule,and Contribute to the development of project schedules and resource allocation plans. (15%)
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into clear, actionable requirements for the development team. (10%)
- Evaluate new applications and identify system requirements to ensure alignment with business objectives.(10%)
- Evaluate new information technology developments and evolving business requirements and recommend appropriate systems alternatives and / or enhancements (10%)
- Coordinate with relevant departments and third-party vendors to design, implement and maintain information systems to enable reporting and service delivery (10%)
- Conduct system briefings and user training sessions to facilitate the adoption of new systems or enhancements.(5%)
- Performs other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor in order to meet operational and/or other requirements.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience:
- Experience with Insurance or Banking applications is highly preferred.
Methodology and Skills:
- Familiarity with the methodology of requirements development and requirements change management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Communication:
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Personal Attributes:
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
- Proactive and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
