About the role
Until now, China-focused initiatives have been handled alongside our global product efforts. But the scale, complexity, and opportunity in this market demand a dedicated leader. The Chinese tech landscape presents its own unique mix of regulatory requirements, AI capabilities, data governance needs, and cloud infrastructure challenges - making it distinct from our global roadmap. Much like our XP branch, China requires fully tailored features, built end-to-end with local users in mind. In this role, you’ll take full ownership of that mission - delivering innovative, compliant, and market-relevant products that seamlessly align with our strategy while unlocking growth in one of the most dynamic markets in the world.
This is the role for you if you’re excited to work on the below:
- Owning the end-to-end product management for all China-specific features, with a strong focus on AI and cloud services
- Achieving AI feature and quality parity between Chinese and international products
- Navigating the unique regulatory and technological landscape of the Chinese AI market
- Migrating and maintaining GNC services in China
- Gathering, prioritizing, and acting on user feedback from Chinese customers
- Partnering with engineering, design, AI, and leadership teams to deliver features tailored to the Chinese market
- Driving measurable impact on P&L for GoodNotes in China
The skills you will need to be successful in the above:
- Proven senior product management expertise, with ownership across the full product lifecycle
- Strong experience in building and delivering AI-powered features
- Ability to synthesize user feedback into actionable priorities and roadmaps
- Deep understanding of the Chinese market and regulatory environment (preferred)
- Experience with cloud infrastructure or service product management (preferred)
- Exceptional collaboration and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical teams
- Strategic thinking balanced with executional excellence in fast-moving, competitive markets
