Strategic partner with the China leadership team and HQ to formulate long term business strategies, support subsequent implementations and strategic follow up actions, evaluate the progress and recommend refinement strategy. - Evaluate new strategic business opportunities, oversee market analysis, monitors industry intelligence, work closely with Critical Care business unit to explore organic growth options, understand deeply on strategy execution to further address continuous high growth of China CC business
- Identify, prioritize, and lead new technology/therapy initiatives, collaborate and communicate with relevant team in Corporate as well as BUs, medical and clinical experts, IP, legal, regulatory, sales and marketing team, develop business cases and determine market trends to substantiate long-term prospects, determine the feasibility of business and product development, hands on execution to upstream marketing and new product development, perform economic analyses on new or improved product opportunities. Develop and disseminate information on a continuous basis to all pertinent parties concerning the fulfillment of project goals and objectives.
- Research and identify business opportunities, maintain surveillance on the market in order to be the cardiovascular and critical care disease expert and identify innovations and therapies that are country-specific. May perform financial analysis of partnership or acquisition candidates. Develop and monitor profitability, productivity, and growth targets. Plan and coordinate business reviews, resource allocations, organization structures, and financial analysis.
- Responsible for key business development initiatives. Perform projects of complex scope. Develop new processes to meet project needs, and for designing projects to suit the financial, operating, legal, regulatory and operating criteria elements of a project. Conduct market research and feasibility studies to analyze the viability of alternative business development opportunities. Collect, compile, verify, and analyze financial, competitive, sales, marketing, and other information about potential business partners; new markets, products and services; or other business opportunities so that senior management has accurate and timely information for making strategic and operational decisions.
