ABOUT THE POSITION
Virtuos is looking for a skilled and motivated Analyst to join our team. As a Financial Analyst in the Group Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team, you will be key in supporting the Group with reporting and analysis for decision making and helping the organization in exceeding its goals. This role allows you to work closely and support stakeholders in Game Division (Operations) and also provides the opportunity to play an active role in projects aimed at automation and improving process efficiency.
To be successful in this role, you should thrive in a fast-paced work environment, be able to work well under pressure and possess strong analytical skills. Additionally, you are meticulous in your work, proactive in identifying improvements and committed to driving continuous process enhancements.
Reporting to the Lead Analyst, this role will be part of the Group FP&A team and be a business partner to the Group Game Division.
- Support and review game proposal margin simulations and analysis
- Review and identify potential risks in game revenue recognition and forecasting
- Prepare game project and customer P&L
- Perform month-end financial closing activities for management reporting
- Assist in the forecasting process and preparation of the annual budget
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and deliver actionable insights that drive business growth
- Proactively enhance or implement finance workflows across the Group to improve efficiency
- Perform other ad hoc financial analysis and projects as required
- Bachelor degree in Accounting / Finance
- Minimum 5 years related working experience
- Proficiency in MS Office skills especially in pivot table and scenario modelling, power query experience preferred
- Experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 is preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and high sense of responsibility, ability to work effectively with multicultural group
- Work well under pressure, meticulous and deadline driven
- Willingness to travel if required
- Fluent in both spoken and written English and Mandarin
