The Regional Commercial Development (RCD) Team is part of the China Market Group Leadership Function. It is mandated to shape the commercial agenda and enable sustainable growth by driving commercial strategies and embedding commercial excellence. Anchored in global direction with local relevance, RCD ensures commercial priorities are aligned, actionable, and effectively executed across the organization.

Core Responsibilities

  • Drive commercial strategies' planning, execution and governance across all RCD commercial areas such as channel management and development, commercial planning, portfolio deployment, and revenue management etc.
  • Shape and steer high-quality BU ICP processes by providing insights aligned with global channel direction while identifying growth opportunities tailored to China’s dynamic market landscape.
  • Own channel-level performance management by leading mitigation planning and taking corrective actions when KPIs deviate from the plan
  • Act as a strong commercial partner to the business by advising across key commercial areas, including sales planning, channel differentiation, portfolio deployment, and TI management.
  • Represent RCD in local commercial forums and cross-functional collaboration meetings, providing strategic input and reinforcing RCD's role as a commercial enabler.
  • Serve as China’s voice in global forums by sharing local insights, scaling local best practices, and shaping commercial inputs into global processes and relevant topics
  • Continuously monitor industry and channel trends to bring in “outside-in” perspectives, identifying commercial opportunities and recommending initiatives where relevant.
  • Support broader RCD responsibilities as assigned by team leader across key commercial areas

Do you have what it takes?

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher would be preferred
  • 5 years+ work experience with a strong background of business performance in commercial roles would be preferred
  • Experience of working in a sizable international brand or sophisticated retailer with proven expertise in setting up sales processes and governance practices
  • Strategical but problem solver with driven approach to business challenges and ability to thrive when faced with ambiguity
  • Extensive knowledge of the Offline B2B Retail business landscape
  • Proven track record to work cross functional with cross regional
  • Passionate about data with analytical, interpersonal and project management skill
  • Able to convey sophisticated information in a simple manner
  • Proactive and open to embrace new tasks and challenges with innovative approach
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Chinese and English
