We are looking for a Regional BD & Marketing Manager to drive market intelligence, sales support, and business development initiatives across the APAC region. The role will be key in analyzing market trends, managing the sales pipeline, and supporting marketing activities, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between market needs and product offerings.
Essential Job Functions:
Market Intelligence Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive dynamics in the related industry across APAC; monitor regulatory changes, industry developments, and customer needs to provide actionable insights for strategic decision-making; develop and maintain market segmentation, customer profiles, and competitor analysis reports.
Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to develop targeted marketing strategies that align with regional sales goals; provide sales teams with tools, presentations, and materials to effectively communicate product value propositions; analyze sales data and market/exhibition feedback to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement.
Pipeline Management: monitor and manage the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and tracking of opportunities; work closely with the sales team to identify and prioritize high-potential leads and accounts; develop strategies to accelerate the conversion of leads into sales and improve pipeline efficiency.
Share Gain/Loss Tracking and Analysis: track and analyze market share gains and losses across key segments and geographies within the APAC region; identify root causes for share changes and recommend corrective actions to maintain or improve market position; provide regular reports and insights to leadership on share performance and competitive dynamics.
External Association Connections: build and maintain strong relationships with industry associations, trade organizations, and key stakeholders in the business sector; represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance brand visibility and network with potential partners; leverage external connections to stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes.
Marketing Activities Support: support regional marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, trade shows, webinars, and product launches; support marketing related brochures, technical documents for APAC version whenever necessary
Cross-Functional Collaboration: work closely with R&D, TSD, product management, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment between market needs and product offerings; support new product development by providing market insights and customer feedback.
Performance Measurement: track and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, using KPIs such as customer engagement, and market share growth; continuously refine strategies based on performance data and market feedback.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Chemistry, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
7+ years of experience in business development, marketing, or commercial roles within chemicals, life sciences, or related B2B industries.
Strong knowledge of APAC markets with proven ability to analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics.
Demonstrated success in supporting sales growth through pipeline management, market intelligence, and targeted marketing strategies.
Solid track record of cross-functional collaboration, ideally with R&D, product management, and supply chain teams, to align customer insights with product development.
