1. Work with cross-functional teams for internal quality issue handling to ensure quality systems and standards are in place and make sure they are followed
2. Help to protect customers against failures in the problem solving process (internal /external)
3. Ensure fact-based data analysis so that the organization can prioritize quality projects appropriately.
4. Work with CEQ to support customers from a quality perspective, addressing their concerns and/or complaints regarding products, processes, and services related to the Product Portfolio.
Job Responsibilities
2,Act as a facilitator to make sure quality tools are used in all relevant manufacturing processes and that the tools are used in the right way.
3,Participate in PFMEA/Control plan/WI review and update.
4,Responsible for editing and updating relevant quality documents(BIN/QI).
5,Ensure corrective actions from 8D are implemented continuously and effectively.
6,Lead waiver process implementation if necessary.
7,Create product audits plan and execute it according to the plan.
8,Participate NPD/Change Control/CDE projects,complete related BIN/QI documents and conduct training for operators.
9,Manage gauges and testing tools at production sites to ensure the smooth operation of quality inspection.
10,Support and Participate in the Continuous Improvement process to support the execution of improvement projects in line with the quality plan (QIP).
11,Responsible for coordinating third-party product standard audits (e.g., UL, CRAA, ATEX, PED,etc.), ensuring involvement of relevant departments, internal communication of audit results, and implementation of corresponding improvement actions.
12,Responsible for organizing Gemba-walk audits with cross-functional team, ensuring audit findings are effectively closed.
13,Prepare customer PPAP samples and dimension report at the request from CQE.
14,Provide NPD project quality performance data(rework rate/scrap rate/defect breakdown) during M5-M6 to lead quality on a monthly basis.
15,Other tasks assigned by the direct manager
Quality Management Systems (QMS): Proficiency in ISO 9001, IATF 16949.
Problem-Solving Methodologies: Expertise in 8D reports, 5Why analysis, Fishbone diagrams, and Factory Tree Analysis (FTA) to resolve customer quality issues.
Product & Process Knowledge: Understanding of product design, manufacturing processes (e.g., assembly, testing), and failure modes (e.g., FMEA, PFMEA).
