Your Role
We are looking for a project accountant to partner closely with design project teams to ensure financial health. The candidate should be a junior to intermediate level finance professional with both solid technical skills and commercial sense. Prior experiences in service industry (especially consulting or architecture) are preferred but not mandatory.
What You Will Do
Project Accounting
Marketing project codes and real project codes management. Responsible for opening, managing and closing of project codes as per company policy.
Responsible for project status update in Vision system.
Working closely with Studio Directors and Project Managers to ensure project financial health, including timely and accurate invoicing, project labor costs/expenses review and control, regular project financial review, bill-with/cross charge review and management.
Assisting and driving on AR collections. Review AR with DMs/SDs on a regular basis. Talk
Providing training or regular refreshment to PMs on basic financial management skills and company tools (e.g. tableau, Genysis reporting).
Consulting costs review and reconciliation.
Financial analysis
Supporting Regional Accounting Manager on regular office financial reports preparation and analysis. Helping to identify key issues and prepare deep dive analysis as appropriate.
To help on ad-hoc analysis to FW, including but not limiting to practice area report, client relationship report, etc.
Supporting on quarterly forecast and annual budget.
Accounts payable
Reviewing and validating payment requests on project costs. Training and communicating with requestors on invalid/improper requests.
Support the launch of Coupa project, responsible for communication with FW and training to end users.
Monthly expense report analysis
Your Qualifications
Strong commercial sense, flexible, proactive working attitude
At least 5 years of related working experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Fluent English capability
Experience with Deltek Vision software or similar accounting programs highly appreciated
Organized, detail oriented, good excel skills
Ability to multi-tasks and to meet the deadlines
Excellent communication skills in both Chinese and English is required
