Manager, Production

Lead production operation team to effectively perform compounding activities. Meet or exceed goals agreed in terms of EHSS, Quality, On-time Delivery, Productivity and Sustainability. Achieve operational excellence and customer satisfaction

• Lead production operation team to effectively perform compounding activities. Meet or exceed goals agreed in terms of EHSS, Quality, On-time Delivery, Productivity and Sustainability. Achieve operational excellence and customer satisfaction
• Ensure all the operational activities must be in compliance with corporate policy and the local government law and regulations.
• Maintain world-class standard of safety and housekeeping environment. Ensure Corporate EHS frame work is completely implemented in production shop floor. Provide a safe working environment for employees.
• Develop and implement annual operation plan and budget. Conduct regular review and explain variance. Prepare actions plan to drive the plan on track.

• Responsible for production team’s talent performance review and incentive proposal. Provide timely feedback and coach to the team. Provide necessary training and career develop plan for the team and make sure they are motivated and competency to assume their roles.
• Build up a performing team and responsible for timely manning according to production team performance and business situation
• Conduct daily production meeting and monthly production review to monitor production performance. Timely support and address the issues found and correct any discrepancy
• Develop SOPs/WI and keep it update to day. Implement and ensure its effective execution.
• Drive continuous improvement. Implement Lean/Six Sigma strategy and initiatives. Keep optimizing system and process to maximize the overall efficiency

• University degree in Polymer Science, Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
• At least 10 years' working experience in Engineering Thermoplastics manufacturing or related industry. Minimum of 6 years production operation management experience in MNCs
• Demonstrated successful track record. With strong team & people management skills, be able to lead multiple teams and/or departments as well as motivate and develop team and staff
• Excellent communication ability. Influencing and be able to align production and other functions to realize business objectives.
• Passion for the excellence of the job; Hand-on and result-oriented. Keep performing under high pressure.

• Mature, confidence and accountable. Open, inclusive, innovative and team player.
• Good English in both written and speaking.
• Computer skill is essential
• MBA degree and Lean manufacturing experience are preferred
