Your mission
- engage in interdisciplinary client-projects and work with cross functional teams
- conduct desktop- and qualitative-research, and identify intriguing insights
- research, analyze, and identify appropriate colors, materials, and finishes in line with product strategy and design concepts, market trends, and insights provided by the design team
- based on research on trending lifestyles, new materials, markets, and technologies, establish CMF stories required for product design, and deliver emotional values in new perspectives to consumers
- explore and generate innovative ideas, and turn them into people-minded concepts
- participate in design-crits to improve your craft and thinking skills
- design products and experiences using CC, Rhino, Solidworks, Keyshot and/or Cinema 4D.
Your profile
- major in industrial or product design, ideally with a focus on CMF design
- convincing critical thinking, outstanding creativity and good presentation skills
- keen sense for details and outstanding craft skills, particularly hand-sketching, CC, Rhino or Solidworks, Keyshot and/or Cinema 4D
- knowledge in material trends and forecast innovative material used in a variety of Hard and Soft Goods applications across multiple industries including interior design, home decor, and consumer electronics
- Knowledge in materials and manufacturing processes
- excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Chinese and/or German skills are a big plus
- natural presence, healthy ambition and high emotional intelligence
- independent, self-motivated, and strong hands-on working attitude
