Position Overview
Are you interested in learning more about Export Coordination in the world leading industrial coatings resins company? allnex is seeking for an Import / Export Specialist in Shanghai, taking responsibilities in import & export material management as well as domestic delivery to ensure trade compliance, duty saving & customer satisfactory. If you are positive results oriented individual with strong customer focus, we are waiting for your application!
Responsibilities
- Co-work with DRP planner, source country logistics to ensure the replenish products to be cleared timely.
- Interface with China government office, such as Customs and Commodity Inspection Bureau for import/export regulations and transportation compliance.
- Interface with forwarder to ensure the smooth vessel booking, meet the destination ports regulation requirements.
- Keep all relative import & export shipping documents, bonded manual documents, ensuring the bonded material export is properly managed.
- Ensure effective customs HS classification, no negative impacts on import duty & export tax refund.
- Ensure apply the correct origin form, no extra duty imposed on the goods from trade agreement countries.
- Monitor 3PL performance, ensuring all import & export activities such as customs clearance, loading, DG declaration and shipping are performed in accordance with the agreed operation procedures.
- Co-work 3rd party warehouse and distribution daily operation, to ensure the rule of ”first in first out” is in place during goods in and out operations.
- Co-operate with customer service, planning, to ensure “the right goods to the right customer at right time with best cost” and follow up the delivery procedure including return material.
- Logistics data is well recorded & documents are well filed.
- Follow up a monthly stock checking and 3rd party logistics cost checking.
- Back up team members and other work assignments.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum 5 years related experience (chemical background is preferred)
- Bonded manual and bonded material management skill is a plus
- Motivated individual with strong self-directed capabilities as well as strong interpersonal and communications skills.
- Computer and English skills are required.
- Good team spirit.
Qualifications
- University degree, prefer Logistics Management or International Trading background.
