Job Purpose
The HR Business Partner will implement HR strategies and processes to support CPL's business growth in China, aligning with global HR direction and initiatives. This role involves partnering with the management team to ensure HR processes and procedures are in place and followed. The HR Business Partner will provide necessary HR solutions to all key stakeholders, ensuring the business is well-resourced with appropriately remunerated and developed people to achieve desired business outcomes. Additionally, this role will work with the management team to enable CPL to become an employer of choice.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Manage recruitment process
- Ensure recruitment and headcount approval process are followed
- Support and enable hiring managers to find the right people for the right positions
- Source and identify practical recruitment solutions
- Manage the entire recruitment and selection process
- Ensure hiring managers have new employee integration plan in place
Implement HR policies, processes, procedures and initiatives
- Review and update existing local HR policies, processes and procedures
- Educate line managers to uplift their ability to manage their team
- Keeping updated with local employment legislation and HR best practices
- Provide right level of support and solution to managers to resolve employee relations issues
- Solving problems through investigation and research and showing judgment in decision making
Manage performance appraisal and salary review process
- Manage and support current appraisal system and process
- Update and implement practical processes and systems
- Educate staff and managers to utilise the system and process effectively
- Manage the performance appraisal process and salary review as per global HR guidelines
- Support annual staff bonus implementation and communication
- Explore local employee benefits offerings and provide cost effective solutions
Manage HR projects and SF
- Manage SF and ensure SF provides accurate information, provide quarterly global HR report
- Ensure all employee changes are accurately captured timely, approved and implemented
- Involve and manage HR audit, compliance, China factory and business expansion
- Identify and partner with external service providers / consultants to coordinate HR services
- Work with global HR to implement relevant global HR initiatives and provide local input
Skills and Attributes Required
- Relevant HR and business degree essential.
- 10+ years relevant HR management and industry experience in a multinational company environment
- Experience in all HR processes, procedures, programs and local legislation
- Demonstrated track record in implementing HR project plans and programs that deliver business outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and communicate with a wide range of stakeholders
- High-level communication, collaboration and influencing skills
