About our group:
The Firmware & Test Engineering group is a global team dedicated to developing Seagate's HDD firmware and HDD/Systems testing processes. Collaborate with each functional team to enhance hard drive / Systems performance and yield, minimize test duration, and boost test process efficiency by designing new algorithm and improving current algorithm
About the role - you will:
- Develop Systems product test script in Python
- Design and improve Systems Test Flow
- Develop HDD Firmware and SelfTest platform in C/Python
- Develop new algorithm to improve HDD SelfTest performance
- Working with DC and factory teams to analyze, debug and improve HDD/Systems product yield and quality
About you:
- Bachelor or above. Knowledge of Science or Engineering
- Good understanding of embedded firmware & software architecture
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, able to use verbal and written communication in English
- Can work independently, innovative, disciplined, Active, self-motivative, A positive attitude for work and willingness to accept challenges
- Good logical ability, strong learning ability and good problem-solving skills
- Down-to-earth attitude with good teamwork
Your experience includes:
- C language programming
- Python language programming
- Troubleshooting, analyzing, designing and debugging embedded system
- Cross-functional team working
You May Also Have
- Data analysis and processing skill
- Knowledge of SAS or SATA
- Knowledge of Storage System
