Role Purpose
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Supply Planning Manager to oversee supply planning operations and lead Executive Sales & Operations Planning (ES&OP) discussions. This role requires a strong leader with excellent analytical skills, a deep understanding of demand to supply processes, and the ability to work collaboratively across functions to ensure efficient supply metrics, mitigate risks, and bridge capacity gaps. The ideal candidate will have both a strategic long-term vision and the ability to deliver immediate tactical results.
Key Responsibilities
Supply Planning & Forecast Management:
- Closely collaborate with Commercial Ops Team to monitor forecast changes and accuracy.
- Publish weekly demand forecasts to key stakeholders and analyze forecast changes for actionable insights.
- Track demand fluctuations for key MP (Mass Production) projects and provide timely updates to relevant teams.
- Manage supply metrics for Build-to-Order (BTO) and Build-to-Forecast (BTF) projects, ensuring alignment with operational goals.
Capacity and Order Management:
- Conduct regular reviews of Contract Manufacturer (CM) capacity and manage capacity booking processes.
- Monitor and respond to order supply metrics such as STP (Ship to Promise), STR (Ship to Request), and lead time (LT).
- Trigger dual-source strategies to enhance supply chain resilience.
- Manage MP order allocations to align with supply, gross margin (GM), and CM strategy requirements.
Inventory Management:
- Monitor inventory levels, including excess inventory and Slow-Moving or Obsolete (SLOB) stock, to meet inventory targets.
- Conduct quarterly reviews of SLOB inventory, track actions for CM inventory write-offs.
Performance and Strategy:
- Compile CM supply performance data to support CM selection and strategy planning efforts.
- Collaborate with the Control Tower team to manage MP order allocation and meet GGS strategic objectives.
Executive Sales & Operations Planning (ES&OP):
- Serve as the host and lead facilitator for ES&OP meetings, ensuring productive discussions and actionable outcomes.
- Present and review supply and demand data, identify risks, and propose recommendations to close gaps or eliminate capacity constraints.
- Navigate cross-functional discussions to ensure alignment on supply planning and operational priorities.
