About the job
Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Shenzhen within the Engineering Division in Shenzhen, the Duty Engineer is responsible for the technical service and support for Front of House and Back of House. The Duty Engineer reports to the Assistant Director of Engineering.
As Duty Engineer, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Maintain proper and safe condition of all Plant, Plant Rooms, Equipment and Work areas
- Comply with all Fire, Life, Health, Safety, Security (FLHSS) Standards
- Perform Emergency Response Team duties as required
- Familiarize himself with the technical details of all Plant and Services relating to the Hotel
- Actively supervise and support the Shift Technician
- To carry out work in accordance with The Hotel Planned Maintenance Programme
As Duty Engineer, we expect from you:
- Minimum 2 years’ relevant working experience in similar capacity
