Work you'll do
- Requirements Elicitation & Solution Design
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and IT stakeholders to gather and document business requirements (e.g., via BRD/FSD), translating business needs into scalable PDM/CAD solutions
- Model as-is/to-be processes with business and Global IT, identifying bottlenecks and recommending improvements for development, change management, and release workflows, etc.
- Implementation & Project Support
- Steer PDM/CAD solution implementation, including configuration, testing (e.g., UAT), validation, and deployment, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines
- Monitor project deliverables, manage risks, and allocate resources to ensure timely completion of initiatives
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for PDM/CAD processes, system function design and configurations, data models (e.g., Product structures), and user guidelines, etc.
- System Optimization & Integration
- Analyze and optimize PDM/CAD systems (e.g., CATIA, ENOVIA, PDM, 3DExperience) to enhance product development workflows, data integrity, and collaboration efficiency
- Design and implement integration solutions between PDM systems and enterprise tools (e.g., ERP, MES, etc.) to ensure end-to-end data flow and traceability
- Stakeholder Collaboration & Training
- Act as a liaison between headquarters, IT, and business units, facilitating clear communication and managing expectations
- Provide end-user training and support for PDM/CAD tools, ensuring effective adoption and troubleshooting system issues
- Continuous Improvement & Innovation
- Research emerging PDM/CAD technologies and industry trends (e.g., AI-driven automation, cloud solutions), proposing enhancements to maintain competitive advantage
- Analyze system performance metrics to identify optimization opportunities and drive data-driven process refinements
We are looking for someone with
- Education
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. And certifications in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA, CSM) or Project Management (PMP) preferred
- Experience & knowledge
- 5+ years’ hands-on business analysis experience in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) or CAD/PDM systems (e.g., CATIA, ENOVIA, 3DEXPERIENCE, etc.) within engineering/manufacturing sectors, with comprehensive understanding of data management (product data modularization, change management, configuration management, release management, etc.) and system integration (PDM-CAD)
- Proven track records in leading business analysis in mid-size projects (e.g., new PDM system introductions, system major version upgrades, etc.), with experience in system functions design, user acceptance testing (UAT), and post-implementation support, etc.
- Familiarity with data integration with downstream systems (e.g., SAP, MES)
- Skills and Abilities
- Stakeholder communication: Translating technical requirements into business language for cross-functional teams (engineering, IT, operations), and vice versa
- Problem-solving: Identifying bottlenecks, proposing efficiency improvements
- Project management: Planning, risk mitigation, and milestone tracking, and resolving conflicts professionally
- Ability to create dashboards/reports for data-driven decision-making
- Quickly master new domains (e.g., business-specific workflows) and visualize complex processes
- Be able to explore opportunities and take actions, striving to do more than required or expected. Preferring to take own initiative under the pressure
- Works cooperatively, with a positive attitude with others to achieve common goals, valuing other contributions
- Fluent in oral and writing English, good at global collaboration in a cross-culture context
