Team Summary
As part of the Visa’s Asia Pacific Consulting Practice, Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) applies deep expertise in payment industry to provide solutions and consulting services to assist clients with their key business priorities, drive growth and improve profitability. We drive tangible, impactful, and financial results for Visa's clients, including card issuers, acquirers, and merchants. The VCA team provides a comprehensive range of consulting services to deliver solutions that address unique challenges in areas such as analytics, credit card product development, risk management, marketing, strategic growth, customer experience, digital payments, among others, and solves the most strategic problems for our clients.
What an Analyst, Business Planning and Operation does at Visa:
The Analyst, Visa Consulting & Analytics will assist Greater China VCA operation director and play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, sales and projects management optimization, internal risk management improvement within the GC VCA. This role is critical to ensure that our operations are aligned with the AP VCA‘s strategic objectives and contribute to its continued growth and success.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Generate accurate and actionable weekly / monthly reports to senior leadership, monitoring key operational metrics, pipeline performance metrics, utility metrics, etc.
- Analyze pipelines and projects performance across all GC regions, driving that targets are met, and potential risks are identified in time and well handled.
- Identify the opportunities for improvement and work with GC VCA Lead together to enhance the VCA business growth and drive operational excellence.
- Closely work with AP BPO, GC VCA Lead and AP / GC Finance to fulfill AP operation management guidelines.
- Develop the yearly budgeting plan including revenue budget, cost budget and hiring plan.
- Regularly update the group's organizational structure to reflect changes in personnel, roles, and responsibilities. Ensure that all team members are aware of their roles and responsibilities and that the organizational structure supports efficient operations and communication.
- Support on the logistics of GC VCA activities and organize internal education to GC VCA Talents.

Qualifications
What you will need:
- Bachelor ‘s degree in business administration, finance, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with cross-functional teams and senior management executive.
- Intellectual versatility, able to traverse domain topics.
- Language skills – English written and verbal skills.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in operations management within the financial industry or experience in business consulting.
What will also help:
- Some consulting experience with project management preferred.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Be very detail oriented, ensuring the highest level of quality/rigor in reports and data analysis
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, data visualization tools, and financial operations software.
