Business: CTO Infrastructure
- Lead, mentor and oversee a group of talented professionals to implement, maintain and support daily Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) services.
- Develop and enforce best practices for system configurations, optimization, monitoring, and performance tuning.
Manage incident, problem and change management processes to ensure adherence to the compliances and service level agreements.
Provide timely support and escalation for critical issues, working closely with internal teams and third-party vendors.
Report to senior management, collaborating with stakeholders to define requirements, design solutions and implement new technologies and enhancements.
Coordinate with engineering, storage, network, cybersecurity teams to optimise infrastructure performance and reliability.
Proactive identify areas for improvement and lead efforts to streamline processes or adopt new technologies.
- Strong and proven experience in desktop visualization operations and service fulfilment, with solid administration experience in Citrix, VMWare platforms and Cloud environments.
- Extensive hands-on background in enterprise-scale organisations as a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) subject matter expert, with deep knowledge of XenApp, XenDesktop, NetScaler, ADC, Citrix Cloud, Microsoft Azure, VMWare and SAN architecture.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a history of mentoring and developing team members.
- Proficiency in the use of PowerShell scripting and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Jenkins), plus familiarity with setting up monitoring solutions and dashboards.
Practical experience using Agile delivery methods and tools to lead a team through both tactical and strategic transformations.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Work independently and under high pressure. Respectful of different cultures, working with colleagues from across all the globe.
Relevant certifications in Citrix, VMWare, Cloud, ITIL service management are highly desirable.
Fluency in English and native proficiency in Cantonese are required; Mandarin is a plus.
Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
