Associate Director, Delivery Management

Principal responsibilities
- Oversees and leads in working with the product owner to align scheduling of activities to broader programme/epic/release requirements.
- Facilitating the team to self-organise; enabling continuous improvement of change and run activities, aligned to the product roadmap and customer expectations
- Create and manage schedules for complex interdependent deliveries
- Shield the team from interruptions during sprints to ensure that Agile process doesn't impede team progress"
- Build project finance model and track funding and actuals
- Run effective governance with teams and senior stakeholders through a set of Steercos and working groups
- Support end to end delivery securing the correct resourcing and skillsets to complete the full scope of the project
- Manage dependencies to ensure correct activities carried out to support project
- Secure resource capacity via resource management teams
- Financial Instituations background
- 7+ years of Project Management / Delivery Management experience in a regulated business
- Large project management skills and experience
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Self Starting
- Can work effectively both with and without oversight
- Clear communicator
- Can understand and simplify difficult technical problems to convey to non technical stakeholders
- Collaborative mindset
- Analytica thinking and ability to make decisions in a fast paced environment
- Knowledge to Fraud and Cybersecurity domain on internet/mobile banking applications would be a plus
