Overview
In this position you are responsible for direct interaction with our customers, airlines, co-loaders. Proactive customer service, problem solving, customer follow up, and interaction with AIT global network. Your day to day activities will include (but not exhaustive to) shipment processing, shipment monitoring, providing key milestone updates to the customers, deviation resolution, physical cargo checks and customs activity in both import and export. To be able to hold this challenging position at the Air department, you preferably have work experience in a similar role as Air Freight forwarder. Currently the working hours are between 09:00 - 18:00. In addition, there are stand-by shifts for out of office hours.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Liaise with customers on shipment arrangement according to the customers’ instructions
- Communicate with oversea office for shipment arrangement to ensure shipments handling properly and efficiently
- Invoicing to customers and inter-companies in compliance with the company guideline and rule
- Handling airfreight Import or Export documents (both Mawb & Hawb level)
- Handle full set of Air Export documents
- System data entry
- Follow up shipment status
- Responsible for daily inquiry related to external and internal parties
- Arrange bookings with carriers, co-loaders and follow up
- Plan cargo consolidation for maximization of equalization
- Ad-hoc projects as assigned by superior
Qualifications
Qualifications & Requirements
- Form 5 or above
- At least 1 year’s related working experience
- Proficiency in PC applications including MS word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Fair command of spoken and written English and Mandarin
- Able to work overtime and work under pressure
- Reliable, Intelligent and high efficient
