ACCOUNT MANAGER, SALES
Responsibilities
- 1.Developing business Targets related to China automotive market
- 2.Identify and gain new business opportunities
- 3. drive RFQs and create a win-win environment with support from other functions, such as engineering and purchasing
- 4.Achievement of Sales Strategic Business Plan :- whilst upholding corporate targets, quality and compliance expectations, and project timelines
- 5. Pricing negotiation (cost impact by design change & material escalator and YoY) with responsible accounts.
- 6. Minimize on AR, and take effective actions to resolve any such cases
- 7.Be window contact for responsible account(s), support quality and engineering for problem-solving and interface with all Regional based Account Executives on Global activity of these customers
- 8. Negotiate purchasing conditions / contracts with support/guidance of Legal Dept.
- 9. Interface between VC Sales , BU’s and Customer Departments as necessary
Qualifications
- 1.Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/automotive engineering and/or Business Administration
- 2.Minimum 4 years sales experience in Automotive Account Management
- Experience and Exposure to Chinese Market Environment
- Previous experience of working with Chinese OEM’s / Tier 1’s/ Tier 2’s is advantageous
- 3.Experience & solid understanding of Chinese automotive industry Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Good coordination both externally and internally
- 4.Chinese native & intermediate English language, both written & spoken (mandatory)
- 5.Target oriented and self-motivated
- 6.Frequent travels, 70-80% time
- 7.Ability to work under stress, whilst being able to selectively focus on the highest priorities
- 8.Dynamic and flexible profile to deal with different customers and China Auto market dynamics, ambitious to manage growing business responsibility
