Account Manager, Active Beauty in Shanghai, China – Your next position?
As an Account Manager, Active Beauty in our Fragrance & Beauty Division at Givaudan's Shanghai office, you'll passionately hunt out, secure and develop new business opportunities. Highly organised, you'll coordinate with internal teams and take ownership of our key customer accounts. Could this be the challenging environment you're looking for? In this position you will:
- Under supervision, grow Givaudan business with designated accounts by managing top and bottom lines
- Cultivate and manage customer relationships within portfolio of accounts
- Monitor customer and competitor activity and maintain customer information
- Track Account Plans for key accounts
- Develop and deliver internal and customer presentations
- Identify/create opportunities for Givaudan to participate in targeted briefs
- Identify customer requirements and follow up on customer submission
- Transition customer projects and new wins from scale-up to production
- Follow KPIs versus targets (Sales, Gross Profit, win rate…) and take corrective actions if necessary
- Negotiate pricing agreements within guidelines
- Manage credit, pricing, rebates and budget etc. for key accounts
- Manage and resolve customer complaints and ensure prompt resolution
- Comply with all appropriate Givaudan and statutory EHS and regulatory guidelines

Your professional profile includes:
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 4 years' sales / MKT or related working experiences in the industry
- 1+ years' functional/technical experience in the active field
- Verbal and written command of English
- Experience of building and maintaining effective relationships with customers, decision-makers and influencers, understanding and communicating customer requirements
- Verbal and written command of English
- Project management skills
- Competence in developing and delivering compelling presentations
- Basic negotiation skills
- Passion for the Cosmetic Industry
- Customer Relationship Management
