Key Account Acquisition Manager - Shanghai, China
Job Description:As Inside Sales on our Enterprise Sales team (Business Development Representative), you will identify and engage with high-quality brands or manufactures based in China that are selling in overseas marketplaces, as well as organize meetings and pitch Pattern’s services. You'll be supporting sales activities in the US, APAC, and EMEA as we accelerate towards our revenue objectives.

What is a day in the life?Qualify prospect accounts in partnership with Enterprise Named Account Manager(s)Find and engage primary points of contact for Pattern 3P, Fulfillment, and Product Experience Management solutions.Assist with and progress deals for all three solutions through the sales funnelResearch ecommerce categories and identify high-growth brands/products to trade on US marketplace platforms, specifically Amazon.Research relevant stakeholders and identify value propositionsNetwork via LinkedIn, overseas ecommerce community (出海组织), and offline to build relationships and organize meetingsSet appointments with enterprise accountsCraft value-driven messages specific to enterprise accounts' current pain points and needsWork closely with enterprise sales reps on enterprise sales plans and targetsInbound outreach with compelling messages through phone & emailWork closely with the enterprise account-based marketing team to penetrate and set appointments with enterprise accounts
What will I need to thrive in this role?
Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business or related fieldTrack record of hitting quotaExperience in sales and qualifying leadsExcellent written and communication skillsCreative thinker and problem solverHighly organized and disciplined
Preferred QualificationsExperience with Salesforce CRMPrevious exposure to Marketplaces, specifically (but not limited to) AmazonInternational experienceBusiness development experience China’s overseas ecommerce ecosystemProficiency in English and Mandarin Chinese
What does the team look like?You will work alongside the US sales team and report to the Director of Sales. This team is data-driven and results-oriented. You will collaborate regularly with members of your team and work across departments with other senior-level colleagues to implement actionable solutions.
